Teacher Workshops

We offer workshops for experienced and new teacher staff development. They can be presented together as a full-day orientation program, or incorporated into school-year staff development offerings.

Each workshop is designed for the very specific new teacher or experienced teacher audience. While designed for a 2 hour session, workshops can be adapted to meet your scheduling needs.

Paraeducator Workshops

A sequence of workshops provides strategies for meeting the variety of student needs support staff strive to meet. The workshops are designed with the special needs of paraprofessionals including teacher aides and teaching assistants. Designed for a 2 hour session, each workshop can be adapted to meet your scheduling needs.

Substitute Teacher Workshops

Every school day matters, and when the "regular" teacher is absent, the learning must not slow down. These workshops are designed to provide substitute teachers with skills and strategies to motivate, manage and master every temporary assignment. Designed for a 2 hour session, each workshop can be adapted to meet your scheduling needs.

SRP Workshops

School office personnel to school bus drivers - all play a role in the development of our students. Often overlooked in staff development program planning, LEARN offers workshops for school related professionals that will validate, inspire and enhance their role in the educational process. Designed for a 2 hour session, each workshop can be adapted to meet your scheduling needs.

Parent Workshops

Helping - really helping children with their schoolwork is a challenge. Arming themselves with skills and strategies will help parents maximize the time they spend giving their children homework assistance.
